Masonic Euchre

The Cost:

Nothing, unless you wish to have a bar supper or drink…. We don’t play for money, only fun. Those who prefer to have a bar supper first, we generally meet at 7pm.

The Venue:

La Villette Hotel on dates outlined below. Games to start from 8pm. Its not a problem if you turn up a little late….

If you are interested, please confirm your support and the number of people attending (wives, girlfriends, friends, etc all welcome) to euchre@guernseymason.org.uk

A Social event for Masons, Prospective candidates and partners.

Following the success of the first event in 2012, the Euchre night is destined to be a regular occurrence.

Anyone interested in; learning euchre, playing euchre, having a social evening out with friends and hopefully bring along a few prospective candidates.

The Format:

Social and fun. Open to Masons, partners, friends and prospective candidates. Have some social time with fellow masons, partners, etc….

Non players, beginners, novices, regular players and experts - all welcome.

The Rules:

Have fun.

Learn to play Euchre, or help others learn the popular Guernsey game.

For those who don’t know what Euchre is, follow these links, but please don’t worry about understanding the words, being out, playing the game with friends is a far more enjoyable way of learning….

Results for 2016

There were only 35 points between first and second place, however Lodge Fidelis managed to edge ahead of Victor Carey and claim the title.

A fun season has been had by all and whilst the charitable donations have been kept small per game, we are pleased to confirm that £200 has been raised.

Not bad for evenings of fun with friends and a glass or two of wine.

The winner has chosen…

Action for Children

As the benefactor of this collection on behalf of the Guernsey Freemasons.

Their aim, “Reducing youth homelessness and, wherever possible, prevent rough sleeping by young people aged between 16 and 21 years of age.”
