Donation to Milly’s Foundation in Alderney

Whilst in Alderney last Friday for the installation meeting of St Anne Lodge, the PGM donated to Colin Williams, founder, a cheque for £4,000 for Milly’s Foundation.

The main focus of the Foundation is assisting those with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

The donation was from the the funds raised in the past year’s Provincial Charity Appeal.

The PGM “was delighted to present a cheque for £4,000 to Milly’s Foundation to support the excellent work they do in education and in supporting alzheimers sufferers in Alderney, both in the Connaught Care Home and in Domiciliary Care.”

The thanks of Milly’s Foundation working group. We will meet and allocate your generous donation to a project from our “want to do” list and keep you posted on progress. In that way I hope we can keep the PGLGA group in the picture and share progress on a project that we will choose based on our overall target of being a leader in dementia care.
